This Privacy Policy describes how Flash Emulator (“the App”) collects, uses, and protects your information.

1. Information We Collect

The App does not require account registration and does not directly collect your name, phone number, or email address. The following information is collected by third-party services integrated into the App:

Advertising (Google AdMob)

We use Google AdMob to display ads. With your permission, AdMob may collect:

  • Advertising identifier (IDFA)
  • Device information (model, OS version)
  • Coarse location (for regional ad targeting)
  • Ad interaction data

If you decline tracking authorization, AdMob will show non-personalized ads instead.

Crash Reporting & Analytics (Firebase)

We use Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous crash reports and usage statistics to improve app stability and experience. This includes:

  • Crash logs and device state at time of crash
  • Feature usage frequency (e.g., file opens, playback count)
  • App version and OS version

All analytics data is anonymized and cannot be used to identify you personally.

In-App Purchases (RevenueCat)

We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases. RevenueCat may collect:

  • Purchase history
  • Device identifiers (to restore purchases across devices)

Local Storage

The App stores the following data locally on your device:

  • Browsing history and SWF file access records (stored in a local on-device database)
  • Temporary SWF files (stored in the system temp directory, automatically cleared when the App closes)

This data stays on your device and is never uploaded to any server.

2. Ad Tracking Authorization (iOS)

In accordance with Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) policy, when you first launch the App we will ask for your permission to use your data for personalized advertising. You can change this permission at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. The App only shares data with the third-party services listed above, to the extent necessary for those services to function.

4. Data Retention

  • Local history: retained until you manually clear it or uninstall the App
  • Crash and analytics data: managed by Firebase under their data retention policy
  • Ad data: managed by Google AdMob under their policy
  • Purchase data: managed by RevenueCat under their policy

5. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
